who holds a degree in actuarial science from Georgia State University , is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Florida Blue Medicare and is responsible for ensuring that the business unit’s strategic financial objectives, which include product line profitability and company-level capital adequacy are met. As an actuarial analyst, a consulting actuary and a managing actuary, she was instrumental in pricing the company’s initial Affordable Care Act (ACA) products and served as a Medicare pricing actuary and Government Markets Finance Director. Throughout her career, Dorsett is active in community and professional organizations. She is a Leadership Jacksonville Alumni, is the current Vice President for the Southeastern Actuaries Conference, has volunteered for several years for the Society of Actuaries Exams & Education Committee, serves on the Board of The Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center and has led numerous hurricane relief efforts in the islands. She has been a strong supporter of the arts and DA for several years.
